Overcome Hunger! Fasting starts after lunch on the 4th and activities begin at 6 p.m. at LifeWay. The event will end at 7 p.m. on the 5th with a breakfast with the entire church. Look for: Tribe Challenges-Games-Prayer–Fellowship.

WHAT TO BRING All money raised, registration form and $10 for participation fee, a change of clothes, a warm coat and shoes you can walk in, sleeping bag, pillow, and a desire to change the world!

Reach Out with us in February! As LifeWay Church sponsors the meals for the homeless men of Federal Way all of February, both the middle school and the high school will each be serving one night.

After Event Adventures Friday Night High School

Join Pastor Mike Freeman every Friday night for a great time of fellowship and fun along with a meaningful lesson for all high school youth. The first Friday of the month the high school youth are invited to attend the after event adventure off site. These events require a special permission form aside from the yearly consent form to attend Friday night youth group. For January our high school students will be venturing to Java Billiards and in February there will not be an after event adventure due to the high school Winter Freeze Retreat. In March the after event adventure will be a trip to Gateway movie theater in Federal Way. Below are the two permission forms that will be needed for the two events planned. Coming in April there will not be high school Friday night group on April 6 but the high school students are invited to join Pastor Mike for a showing of The Passion of the Christ after the LifeWay Good Friday service.

All other Friday night youth groups will have an after event planned at the church campus. These events range from cards and game nights to outside glow tag. For all of the onsite after events Pastor Mike is asking that all youth bring $5.00 every Friday night for the onsite events to cover the cost of snacks.

Summer Camp at Lake Trask

This summer Pastor Mike Freeman and the LifeWay Church youth leaders will take our Middle School and High School age youth on a 5 day, 4 night camping trip that will refresh their relationship with God and others. They will head to Lake Trask in Western Washington where the view is fabulous and the lake will be perfect in July.

July 27 to 31, the cost is $55.00 before July 1 and $65.00 after that. Space is limited so please get your registration form in now.

Our faith is about developing a relationship with our Savior Jesus. And just like any other relationship, we often find ourselves taking things for granted and drifting relationally. It makes sense then to slow down from time to time, ask ourselves hard questions about our relationship with Christ and then answer them honestly. That’s exactly what we are doing these 7 weeks, asking hard questions, being honest, and then sharing through scripture and testimonies how we can RE:fresh that relationship and experience it they way God intends it to be.

Join Pastor Mike Freeman for Friday Night High School group as he takes the youth through this series for 7 weeks beginning on May 13.
